All-County Pitcher Signs Letter Of Intent

Mike Sweeney, a pitcher for the DePaul Catholic Spartans, signed a letter of intent last week to play baseball at Pace University. Sweeney, a Wayne resident, is a senior at DePaul.
Sweeney was named second team All Division and second team All County in 2011. He helped the Spartans win their third Passaic County championship last year. The Spartans defeated Wayne Valley High School 8-4.
