Student Receives Science And Technology Scholarship

Joseph Lubertazzi awarded scholarship for outstanding work in the fields of science and technology.

Joseph Lubertazzi, a senior at , was presented with the annual NJ Met Inc. Scholarship recently.

Lubertazzi will attend DigiPen Institute of Technology in Washington later this year.

“It feels great to be recognized in the fields of science and technology because they happen to be the passions of my life,” Lubertazzi said in a statement.

Nicole Federico presented Lubertazzi with a commerative citation and a U.S. savings bond in recognition of his academic performance and leadership.

Joseph Federico, a Wayne resident, first awarded the scholarship in 2001. It is awarded to students throughout the state who excel in academics and display positive leadership in the fields of science and technology.
