NJ Transit is considering eliminating the No. 75 bus route that runs through Wayne, Pompton Lakes, Wanaque, and Little Falls on its way to Newark in an effort to cut annual costs by $340,000, NorthJersey.com reported.
NJ Transit said about 28 people utilize the route from the Wayne Transit Center, on Route 23 to Butler. Those people would not have another bussing option between the two locations.
Buses on the route also stop at the Willowbrook Mall and the Willowbrook Mall Park and Ride facility.
