The Board of Education candidates gave their opinions on whether or not they would, or should, support a board decision that they are not in favor of.

The candidates addressed the issue at a forum held last week by the Wayne Council of Parent Teacher Organizations.

The question is one of several the candidates were asked at the forum.

We featured the candidates speaking about their professional experience and the basis of their platforms in an article published earlier this month.

They spoke of how they've educated themselves in matters of the district and the board in another series of videos.

They should stick to what they believe is the right thing to do. They shouldn't have to support every decision made by the BOE. That is the reason we have more then one BOE member. But this BOE is known for sticking together on issues even if the taxpayers are against it. Most of them are political wannabe's looking to get into politics. The BOE in this town is disgusting. No regards for the taxpayers who are footing the bills for their careless spending. They are destroying this township with never ending tax increases.

Pad - with all do respect, Jane Huthinson and Don Montayne both voted no for the public relations a few months ago. The vote was around July - many times the council and boe members have 'no votes' - Jane for the past nine years has considered the taxpayer first as well as many other board members. Quality services cost money but no one should vote yes just because it is in the budget.

Jane was also the head of the BOE when the teachers got huge raises a couple of contracts ago. Her quote in the Wayne Today was " the negotiations were quite pleasant". Not for the taxpayer.

Leave it to the "GOOD OLE' GANG" BOE ( BOUGHT OVER EXPENDITURE) to just keep raising our taxes. At least their consistent every year, no surprises.
