Sports, extracurricular activities also cancelled. No decision made on Tuesday yet.

Wayne Township Public Schools will be closed on Monday, Oct. 29 due to inclement weather.

Superintendent Ray Gonzalez made the announcement Sunday night.

All sporting events and extracurricular activities are cancelled as well.

"No decision about the status of school for Tuesday has been made at this time," Gonzalez said.

Updates on the status of school after Monday will be made through the district's telephone notification system, website, e-mail, social media accounts, and the media.
