SAT Prep Course Will Continue To Be Offered

Eight-week course will be held at Wayne Hills High School.

A SAT preparation course will continue to be offered to high school students despite the Wayne Adult School being shut down.

Lentz & Lentz (L&L) had an agreement with the school to hold the course there, but the board shut the school down earlier this year.

L&L will offer the eight-week long course for 11th and 12th graders at Wayne Hills High School this fall. The company recently entered into an agreement with the Board of Education.

“We haven’t increased our costs to offer the program,” said Jeremy Lentz, the course director. “We want to make it as accessible as possible to the widest range of students as possible.”

Board of Education President Donald Pavlak Jr. could not be reached for comment.

The course will cover all aspects of the PSAT and SAT, including the written portion of the exams.

The cost to attend the eight-session course is $390, the same as it was when it was offered at the adult school.

The eight classes will be offered at Wayne Hills High School Sept. 12, 19, and 27 and Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, and 30. Classes are three hours long from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
