New Republican Organization Plants Roots, Residents Can Watch Their Favorite Teacher Get Dunked On
Here is a sample of what we're working on this week.
There are a few events happening this week in Wayne. We'll attend them all and let you know what happens at each one.
- There is a new Republican organization in town, the Wayne Republican Party for the People. We'll talk to a few members of the oragnization and let you know why the group was founded.
- The annual charity basketball game between the Wayne All-Stars and the Harlem MagicMasters will be held at Wayne Valley High School Friday. The Wayne Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse is sponsoring the event. Admission fees from the event will go to the alliance, which works to combat alcohol and drug abuse in the township.
- The March of Dimes' annual March for Babies walk will be held Sunday beginning at 8 a.m. at Wayne Hills High School.
- New officers and trustees at Shomrei Torah will be sworn in at a special brunch Sunday morning. We'll attend the brunch and let you know who will take up the reigns of leadership at The Wayne Conservative Congregation.
