Residents Can Submit Applications For Junior Police Academy
Enrollment limited to 80 kids between 10 and 12 years old.
Residents may now submit applications for the 2012 Junior Police Academy.
The police department's Community Policing Unit organizes the annual event.
Enrollment is restricted to 80 residents between 10 and 12 years old. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The curriculum will include hands-on activities and physical training exercises to give children an idea of what is involved in becoming a police officer.
The academy will be held at Wayne Valley High School June 25 to 28 between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

KUDOS to Wayne Police for continuing their programs like this!! Excellent job! Many towns are not able to support programs like this due to strict budget cuts - nice to see that Wayne PD cares about our youth. Keep up the good work..
