Readers' Choice: What's the Best Grocery Store in Town?
There are several grocery stores to choose from in Wayne.
For this week’s Readers’ Choice we’re asking residents what their favorite grocery store is.
There are a few grocery stores in Wayne, each with its own style and selection of items offered.
A&P and Shop Rite are traditional, mass-market grocery stores. They each feature a deli and bakery.
Trader Joe’s offers a large selection of the company’s own name-brand items. There is an assortment of gourmet, organic, fair-trade, vegetarian, frozen, and imported foods. There are also a section of hygiene products, including some all-natural varieties.
Corrado’s is one of several family-owned markets. The store features aisles of traditional grocery items along with a large selection of fresh produce, fish, meat, and bakery items.
Voting ends at 9 a.m. Friday.
Starting this week, votes will not be the only factor used in determining a Readers’ Choice winner.
The business with the most verified votes will receive 10 points, the business with the second most verified votes will receive eight, and the business with the third most verified votes will receive six.
Users may also rate a business in the applicable Patch Places directory listing (ratings are based on a five-star scale and you must be a registered user in order to rate a business). The business with the best rating will receive 10 points, the business with the second best rating will receive eight points, and the business with the third best rating will receive six points.
Points will be added up when voting concludes. The establishment with the most number of points received from the two factors will be declared the winner.
Last week, readers chose Grasshopper Too as readers’ favorite place to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day.
