PCTI Student Finishes First in 5K Challenge
Victor Reyes helped raise money for the Special Olympics.
Victor Reyes came in first place in the Lincoln Tunnel 5K Challenge April 17. He finished the race in 16 minutes and 19 seconds. Reyes is a senior at Passaic County Technical Institute.
The event raised more than $200,000 for the New Jersey Special Olympics. The route took runners through the Lincoln Tunnel, form Weekhawken to New York City and back.
Reyes ran track for four years. He specializes in distance running.
