Pa. Death Investigation Continues, Budget Being Introduced and More This Week

Here are some of the stories you may find on Wayne Patch this week.

 

Here’s a sample of what may be on Wayne Patch this week.

  • We’ll let you know the latest regarding the investigation into Gail Dews’ death. Dews’ body was found last week at the bottom of a 90-foot gorge off a Pennsylvania highway Monday, March 11. Police have labeled her death as “suspicious.” Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
  • The council is expected to introduce the town’s budget at its next public meeting Wednesday. Are municipal taxes going up this year? We’ll see.
  • We’ll let you know what happens at the Board of Education’s next meeting on Thursday. School district officials are in the middle of creating the district’s 2013-14 budget. We’ll let you know if the budget is discussed at the meeting.
  • Wayne Presbyterian Church is holding a Soles for Souls shoe drive. The Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, a student club at William Paterson University, is co-sponsoring the fundraiser. We’ll find more out about the fundraiser.
