Officials Extend Property Tax Deadline Due to Sandy

Payments are now due by Dec. 3.

 

Due to the storm related hardships of Hurricane Sandy, residents now have until Monday, Dec. 3 to pay their property taxes.

Taxes had been due Nov. 1. Payments received after that date will be subject to interest.

The mayor and council extended the due date at a public meeting Nov. 7.
