Sams bagels are real bagels. The others are wonder bread shaped like a bagel.

I am retracting my high opinion of Sams. They recently sold me bagels that tasted like paste. I guess they are on the wonder bread recipe too, like all the other places. Now I have to go to Clifton for a real bagel. They are just as bad as The Bagel Stop.

Not sure when you were last there Elizabeth, but I'm nominating Sam's... My family recently had great bagels from there to celebrate Father's Day. The service was fast and friendly and my entire family liked the bagels.

I think the best bagels in town are from Sam's Bagel & Deli. They're always fresh and service is fast. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I nominate Bagelloops! They have the BEST Hand rolled bagels around!! The service is always great and the bagels are delicious!! The shop is always very clean and organized. It's no surprise that they have been in business for almost 20 years!!

SAM I AM Rte 46 in Totowa......by far the best bagels in the area...Customer service not the greatest, but I will drive 15 minutes every Saturday morning for their bagels....as far as the other mentioned shops, tried them all, you must have all been raised on wonder bread......

Bagel loops has to have, hands down, THE best bagels i have ever had. They're always so soft and warm. Even after warming them up after freezing them, they taste like they just made them. They ruined me for other bagels. Love them!

@georgeg Get with the times , New York bagels are old news , people want good quality and more for their money these days not crusty dough less bagels. BTW Totowa is still not in Wayne the last time I checked this is the Wayne patch if you can understand the poll, not to offend.

OK people, just like we have accepted global and free market economy, let's accept the greater Wayne area. I will continue driving to Totowa until such time that acceptable bagels are available in Wayne. The same applies to pizza....still looking for good pizzas in wayne. And please don't mention Vinny's.......

Teresa, not sure what age group you are in but most of the bagel shops in Wayne seem to bake soft doughy bagels to accommodate toothless or denture wearing people who have lost their ability to chew and taste the wonders of a great crusty bagel ......

@georgeg. I'm pretty sure I am younger then you are, but there are plenty of people in this poll that agree Bagelloops has the best bagel in town and I'm also pretty sure they are not all toothless and wearing dentures.

Teresa.....I suppose that they are the same people who voted for Vinny's as the best pizza and Positano's as the best Italian restaurant.....There is no accounting for taste.
i have been a resident of Wayne for 30+ years and my main complain has always been where to go for a tasty bagel, a great pizza, and a place to enjoy a good meal. I am still looking......

wow seems like a rash of bageloops voters lately but i will hands down take a sams bagel to any bagel in town. especially the everything bagels. sams has my vote a hundred fold! Sams for best bagel in wayne!!!
