Police said friends started out play fighting outside a bar early Wednesday morning.
A Wayne man allegedly bit off part of another man's ear during a fight outside a bar on Hamburg Turnpike early Wednesday morning, Bloomingdale police said.
Bloomingdale police said Michael Mccroy, 22, of Wayne, bit off part of Matthew DeAugistinis's ear while they were rolling on the ground wrestling in front of a bar on Hamburg Turnpike around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police did not say at what bar the incident occurred.
The fight allegedly escalated into a wrestling match and both men sustained injuries, police said.
No charges were filed against either of the men although DeAugistinis, 25, of Bloomingdale, had to be transported to the hospital because of the injury. Police said the men are friends.
