BAE Systems laid off employees from its Wayne site on Monday. The layoffs had been expected for months. BAE refused to disclose exactly how many employees lost their jobs.

Food Pantry Moves to YMCA
The Wayne Interfaith Network has relocated its food pantry to the Wayne YMCA. Personnel running the pantry began looking for another location in January. The food pantry had been located at Packanack Community Church.
