The last chance to register to tryout for the Sportfriends Soccer Club’s traveling youth teams is Friday, May 11.

The 79-year-old club is one of the oldest soccer clubs in the state. It was founded in 1933. The club has two lighted soccer fields and a clubhouse on Ryerson Avenue.

There are several teams children may try out for: Under-8, Under-9, and Under-10 boys’ teams, and the Under-11, Under-12, Under-13, and Under-14 girls’ teams.

The tryouts are for the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 season.
