Star quarterback Kevin Olsen may be looking to sign with Michigan State, MaxPreps.com is reporting.
The Wayne Hills High School star recruit has also shown an interest in Auburn, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Miami, his brother Greg's alma mater. Greg plays tight end for the NFL's Carolina Panthers.
The younger Olsen, a junior, is ranked number 37 on MaxPreps.com's list of national high school football recruits.
Olsen is also on ESPN's list of the top 150 national high school prospects for the class of 2013.
Olsen also told ESPN that he enjoys playing for his father Chris, an eight-time state championship winning coach, and hopes to win another state championship next year when he returns to the field.
Olsen raised some eyebrows earlier this year when he told residents and the Board of Education that he would forgo playing his senior season if his father doesn't coach the team.
The older Olsen is athletic director of Wayne Hills High School. The board approved a policy last month that prohibits administrators and supervisors from coaching sports teams or acting as advisors to any athletic or extra-curricular program.
