Excellent restaurant! The service was fantastic from the time we walked in until we left. One of the best steaks I've ever had & it was without a doubt some of the most tender meat I've eaten. The prices are a little high, but the quality of steak is without a doubt deserving of the cost. The french onion soup was incredible & the German cake was delicious!! I cannot wait to have another meal here & will recommend to everyone I know. It's nice to have some variety in the area & this Steakhouse is very welcome!

Also, these guys are so generous & accomodating that they even provided us with complimentary salads & sides just to ensure we were satisfied. You can't beat free food, especially when it's so good!

I had dinner at Wayne steakhouse last Saturday and I must say I was very dssapointed with the whole experience. The porterhouse was not of prime quality as they advertise very tough and fatty. the service was a mess. Overall all they are in the same category as Boulder creek. I would never go back.

Clearly, there are people here trying to promote other restaurants! It's a shame really. I have been to every notable steakhouse in NJ and NYC and will tell you that without a doubt, Wayne Steakhouse exceeds expectations. The prices are great considering the quality steak you get, and the fact that it's BYOB!!!! You don't have to spend triple the amount on a bottle of wine. Go check out this place for yourself. It's a great find in Wayne, NJ and the staff is genuine and attentive. In response to that horrible review by Connie that was not only classless, but poorly written, you must consider the source where the information is coming from. She complained that the steak came out "cut up in slices"... now any steakhouse novice would be able to tell you that this is the way that Peter Luger's and every other steakhouse serving that style menu serves their steak. Try it out people, leave an intelligent comment on your feedback. Not some incoherent, 7 year old grammar ramblings, just because you didn't like your steak cut for you!

My girlfriend and I went to the Wayne Steakhouse this past weekend for dinner and i could not recommend a better place for a wonderful night out. Our servers name was Tony, and I must say the service was outstanding. It was our first time there and Tony took the time to help us through the menu even though the restaurant was noticeably busy. We ordered the NY Prime Sirloin and it was ABSOLUTELY delicious! I know for sure I definitely recommend stopping by and tasting their astonishing steak and seafood. My girlfriend and I will also be returning there very soon!

Amazing!!! Excellent steak - even better service!!! I never hesitated the 40 min drive to New York for a great steak and trust me I know Prime Dry-Aged steak when I taste one. Wayne steakhouse is new restaurant but is very quickly becoming an institution to teach all of your taste buds how a prime dry-aged steak really tastes like. The steaks come out sizzling and cut Peter Luger's style. The service was for the lack of a better word AMAZING!! I definitely recommend this restaurant. To all of you who do not appreciate a chance to eat a great Prime Dry- Aged steak with your own wine -without being ripped off by paying triple the price, i suggest you go at Hamilton &Ward or Outback!

I think the Wayne steak house was the best experience that me and my wife had, we loved food and the part that we didn't have to drive in to the city to grab a good steak, excellent food and service. We recommend everyone to try it ( second Peter Luger )

At least twice a month, you can taste the difference in their food and know that a lot of love and work has gone into creating something that is not just a meal; it's a representation of the strong commitment that the Wayne Steak House has.

The Best Steak House in the area... I frequent steak houses such as ben & jacks, benjamin steak house, river on the palk and honestly Wayne Steak House was excellent and is now my #1 choice. The service was great specifically by the host Tony who provided us with excellent service and the Bring Your Own bottle is great because i can bring my favorite wine from Salerno and not have to worry. Highly recommend it. BUJAR DEVA from Brooklyn, New York

Food was average, disappointed with the steak. Asked for medium , received rare. Clams not shucked well. Waiters did not remember who ordered what. Website compares their steak as being better or equal to Luger's. Far from the truth. Overall quality of the meat much less than what I expected. Maybe I just caught them on an off night???

The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere. The service was great - everyone was personable and welcoming. The food was very good - nice menu.
The steak is tender enough to cut with a butter knife and comes in a hot plate with all the juices. The flavor is like no other steak I've ever had. It will continue to cook on the hot plate. Slice it up nicely such that you order for 2 people
The home fries and creamed spinach are solid side dishes to accompany the steak,
and the desert uh. well.
The management team stopped by to make sure everything was perfect. The Bomb!!!
Definitely a return-to place!!!

My god....I have enjoyed steak around, and this was the best. Family of 4, we had the steak for 4, caesar salad and bacon to start, german potatoes and creamed spinach, and apple strudel and fudge sundae to finish....divine from start to finish. Those who complain about waiters, cash, etc. don't get it. This is what great one-of-a-kind food is all about. Plan ahead and book in advance to get a table at dinner time.
Definitely a return-to place!

Good place to be with your family, We started with the shrimp cocktail and thick cut bacon, then followed with a porterhouse steak as well as their ribeye steak. They were all delicious!!! The steaks were perfectly medium rare and melted in our mouths. Great atmosphere and service .
Will definitely be going with family & friends again, in the future.

Ate there first time Sat Night. Service still getting up to speed, but the Steaks were excellent, New York quality. If you're like me and only eat beef on occasion because of Doctor's orders, than you want a good piece of steak when you do. A little pricey for the suburbs, but like I said quality meat, not the oversalted , normal chain restaurant beef. Well worth it and as a BYOB you save on wine costs.

I went there last night with my wife, and the steak was really good, better than the Palm, the service was great, and the fact it was BYOB was something I was truly happy about. I definitely recommend this steakhouse, try it for yourself and be United with the rest of us steaklovers in NJ.
The hell with the tolls and traffic, Wayne Steakhouse is a hidden gem...

Wayne Steak House!!! Steak ok... Overall A thumbs Down.. They State a Peter Lugers Experience.... WRONG!!! They Sell a porter house for 2 for $82. not a bad price until, you get your Steak.. Its only 30 to 32 oz... If you GO to Lugers or Palm or River Palm it’s a 50oz Stk for about $86 to $92.
There Stk was missing about 1inch in size... then there German Potatoes,,, Nothing more than home fries you get in any Diner.. Just triple the price.. When I question the waiter/Manager about it he began talking out of his you know what. He did not know he was talking with a chef with over 20years of experience. When I explained he was quick to say OH I LEARNED SOMETHING NEW TONIGHT. When we started off with Bread... Ice cold and there was hair in it also.. When I brought that to the waiter’s attention it took about 10min to for the bread man to take it to the kitchen and another 5 min to find they only threw it in the microwave. That was the start.. Don’t waste your money....
I am not one to complain.. Even my 9 yr old son's statement was it was worse than the worse Diner he has ever been to....

First off how many self posts can Wayne Steakhouse put here? Seriously every good review has a slavic name to it which is the same assholes that own this joint. The place sucks and the staff is atrocious. Absolutely horrible. 350.00 later and a shit Valentines Day bc of it. The steak is not prime by any means. Its poor quality but it is aged Ill give them that. Service is the worst that I've ever seen. Seafood platter sucks. Brad is ok. Steak is next to inedible. The steak seemed like it was previously frozen or something. I'm absolutely bent right now after going to this shit hole. And you slavic assholes want to claim its like peter lugers or the palm. Go Fuck Yourselves Assholes!

Had dinner tonight. 7 pm reservation for a table of 5. We sat by 7:30. Appetizers were average but the steaks were great. Pricey for Wayne but the bring your own wine made it worth it. The steaks were good. I will be back.
I'm a avid NYC steakhouse guy and this was not bad minus no bar and decor of the place. Weird location.
