Crime Dropped 8 Percent in Wayne from 2010 to 2011

State Police release Uniform Crime Report for 2011.

 

Crime dropped 8 percent in Wayne from 2010 to 2011. The New Jersey State Police released its Uniform Crime Report for 2011 recently.

Violent crimes increased slightly from 34 to 36 year over year. Of those 36, 18 were robberies and 14 were aggravated assaults. Violent crimes include murder, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault.

Non-violent crimes decreased from 1,374 to 1,256. Of these there were 1,044 larcenies and 144 burglaries.

The number of violent crimes increased slightly from 0.6 to 0.7.

I guess they forgot to count all the breakins Wayne had in 2012. Those stats are a joke.

It does clearly state from 2010-2011.

It says 2010 to 2011. 2011-2012 stats aren't out yet. It helps to pay attention.
