Wayne Business 'Proud' to Paint for Charity
Spectrum Painting helps beautify Wayne Hills alumna's home.
Spectrum Painting and Paper Hanging held its second annual Paint It Proud charity event recently.
The Wayne business painted Danyelle DeRosa’s home as part of the initiative.
DeRose, a Wayne Hills High School alumna, was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was 16 and given six months to live.
DeRosa battled through several surgeries and became functionally blind. She is a graduate of Seton Hall University and rescues animals left homeless by disasters.
Spectrum also beautified the day center at Family Promise of Passaic County. The non-profit helps low-income families get back on their feet with computer access, a place to stay, and job training.
Spectrum also donated its services to Paterson Habitat for Humanity.
In a statement released Tuesday, Spectrum stated it “is happy to give back to the community.”
