Broken Water Main Closes Black Oak Ridge Road
Second broken water main in that area in less than 10 days.
A broken water main closed part of Black Oak Ridge Road Wednesday night.
The break occurred Wednesday night at about 8:30 p.m.
Black Oak Ridge Road was closed from Route 23 South to Newark Pompton Turnpike to repair the broken pipe.
It is the second water main pipe to break in the area in recent weeks. Another water main broke on Newark Pompton Turnpike near Black Oak Ridge Road Feb. 20. Newark Pompton Turnpike was closed for sevearl hours while the break was repaired.
