Autopsy Being Conducted on Gail Dews' Body
Dews' body was found at the bottom of a gorge in Pennsylvania Monday in what authorities are calling a 'suspicious' death.
Authorities are waiting on the results of an autopsy on Gail Dews' body.
Dews’ body was found Monday at the bottom of a 92-foot gorge in Shohola Falls, Pa. She was 56 years old.
“We won’t have an exact cause of death until the results are in,” said Trooper Connie Devens, public information officer with the Pennsylvania State Police.
Authorities have deemed Dews’ death “suspicious.” Dews' family members and friends from Pennsylvania and New Jersey are being questioned regarding her death. Dews husband notified police that his wife was missing on Monday morning, shortly before her body was discovered.
Shohola Falls is located in Pike County about 90 minutes away from Wayne.

Dan - any other investigative news here on the poor victim? Her/family background? She have a job? One child only? Wayne native? Any domestic violence accusations/filings by her in the past? Very little in-depth discovery here, and not much more in The Record or No. Jersey.com.
