Arts Students Will Showcase Their Talents at Special 'Evening'
Tuesday's Wayne Evening with Arts gives students the chance to demonstrate their musical and artistic talents.
Music aficionados, parents, and artists will have the chance to see some of the most talented artists in town at the annual Wayne Evening with the Arts this week.
The Evening with the Arts will be held Tuesday, March 12 at Wayne Hills High School.
It will be the eighth time elementary-, middle- and high school-aged students will sing and perform at the event.
Various ensembles, dues, trios, and other musical groupings have been featured at previous events.
Students from various music programs in the district will give brief performances. Usually, they are less than 15 minutes long, giving attendees the chance to see multiple acts throughout the event. Performances are staged against each other.
The Wayne Hills High School Tri-M honor society has organized the event for the past four years. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, a non-profit that donates musical instruments to needy school districts.
Doors open at 6:45, performances begin at 7 p.m.
