Annual Easter Egg Hunt is March 16

Kids can win a large Easter basket. Event s for children 7 years old and younger.

 

The annual Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday, March 16 at Wayne Valley High School.

The hunt begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. Children should arrive no later than 10:15 a.m. Each child should bring a basket to keep his or her eggs in.

Prizes will be awarded. The Easter Bunny will distribute candy to every child.

One large Easter basket for each age group will be awarded. To win the basket a child must have a winning egg.

Each child should be accompanied by an adult. Parents should allow their children to collect no more than 10 eggs in order to allow every child an opportunity to get an egg.

Children will be divided into different groups according to age: 

  • Toddlers through 2-year-olds
  • 3- and 4-year-olds
  • 5- to 7-year-olds

No child older than 7 will be allowed to participate.

The Junior Women's Club will sell coffee, bagels, donuts, cocoa, and juice available to purchase for a nominal charge beginning at 9:30 a.m. 

Children can have their picture taken with the Easter bunny for $2.

Adults will have the chance to win a chocolate bunny. To check and see if the event is cancelled due to inclement weather call 973-633-4717.
