University stresses the importance that education should be used to help others.
Wayne resident Andrew Serkanic earned a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from La Salle University in May.
Located in Philadelphia, La Salle University was established in 1863 through the legacy of St. John Baptist de La Salle and the Christian Brothers teaching order, which De La Salle founded 300 years ago.
La Salle is an educational community shaped by traditional Catholic and Lasallian values.
La Salle students are taught to have a deep respect for themselves and their peers; a belief that intellectual and spiritual development go hand-in-hand; a passion for creative teaching and learning; and a conviction that education should be useful-for personal growth, professional advancement, and service to others.
