Two New York men were charged with credit card theft after police said they had 48 fraudulent cards in their possession. The men were found in the CVS parking lot.

Legislation Could Alter Who Controls Floodgates

Assemblyman Scott Rumana (District 40) introduced legislation that would change who decides when the floodgates on the Pompton Lake dam can be opened.

The legislation that would authorize the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) to order the water level of any reservoir to be lowered up to five feet prior to a “severe weather event.”

Services, Technology Part Of Library’s Plan

Wireless printing, a tablet station, and new e-readers are some of the proposed additions and enhancements to the Wayne Public Library. They are included in library’s four-year-long strategic plan.

Morris Canal Will Have Bike Paths

The Federal Highway Administration has awarded a $530,000 grant to create bike lanes and improve walkways along the proposed Morris Canal greenway in Clifton and Paterson.
